On March 30, 1966 The General Tire and Rubber Company (General Tire) brought a patent infringement action against Murphy Body Works, Incorporated (Murphy) in the Eastern District of North Carolina. The next day General Tire filed a similar patent infringement action in this District against Isocyanate Products, Incorporated (Isocyanate), Murphy's supplier. A few hours later Isocyanate filed a declaratory judgment action...
