The decedent was president of Gerald Records, a firm which made and released phonograph records. On the night of decedent's fatal accident, a recording session was held at an independent studio used by various record companies. Present at the session were decedent and a Mr. Parsons, an employee of Gerald Records. The recording session terminated between 2:00 and 2:30 A.M. when Parsons left.
