An eastbound pickup truck operated by defendant Alvin Doss encountered a westbound left-turning truck on U. S. Highway 60 in Shannon County, Missouri, at 5:40 A. M. Friday, May 31, 1963. Plaintiff Eddie Griffin and Ronald Holland (employees of Alvin Doss and Ralph Harper, partners doing business as Doss and Harper) were passengers in the Doss vehicle.
