This is an appeal from a jury verdict for the defendant, Jim Murphy, on his counterclaim, in an action brought in district court. The plaintiff, Viola Ratcliff, commenced the action, seeking damages for injuries she received when the car, in which she was a passenger, struck two of a number of cattle being driven across a highway by the defendant.
