RUBIN, District Judge:

George Richardson alleges he was employed as a deckhand on a ferry boat by the Bridge & Ferry Authority and that he was hurt in the course of his duties as a result of the negligence of the Bridge & Ferry Authority and the unseaworthiness of the ferry boat. He filed this suit against the Authority and its insurer under the Jones Act and the general maritime law. Each of the defendants filed motions to dismiss and alternative motions...
