These two lawsuits, which were consolidated for trial, involve an action for wrongful death and an action for property damage respectively. They arose out of a railroad crossing accident. The cases were tried before a jury and the jury returned a verdict for the plaintiff in the wrongful death action in the sum of $60,000 and returned a verdict for the plaintiff in the property damage action in the sum of $1500...
