This action was brought against respondents Henry A. Rhodes, Inc., MacDonald Building Co., and the City of Tacoma to recover damages for personal injuries sustained in the manner described below. The trial court dismissed the complaint as to defendants Rhodes and the city. After trial, a jury verdict was returned in favor of plaintiff against defendant MacDonald Building Company (herein referred to as respondent) in the amount of $20,000. Thereafter,...
