OPINION
GREEN, Chief Justice.
This appeal is form a judgment entered by default. Appellee San Juan State Bank filed suit on January 27, 1966, in the 93rd District Court of Hidalgo County against L. P. Leibowitz on a promissory note. The petition described the note in detail, set out the date of its execution, September 6, 1960, the total principal amount of $2,392.61, method of payment in monthly installments
