Jimmie Temple is confined in the Florida State Prison under a judgment of conviction and ten-year sentence imposed by the Circuit Court for Suwannee County, Florida, on November 22, 1954. More than ten years have elapsed since Temple was sentenced. However, his letter found in the original record explains: "My expiration date is actually set for Sept. 30th 1966. This is due to the fact that I spent some time on parole which was eventually taken...
