This is an eminent domain proceeding involving the taking of 1.7 acres for highway purposes. A jury trial resulted in a judgment for $10,000 in favor of appellees from which comes this appeal.

It is not here contended the judgment is excessive (if it is based on competent evidence), nor is there any objection to the instructions given by the trial court. For a reversal appellant relies on two separate points, both relating to the admissibility...
