This petition for certiorari was brought to review a decision of the zoning board of review of the city of Providence wherein the board held that it was without jurisdiction to hear and determine an application for permission to use a vacant church as a funeral home. The writ issued, and pursuant thereto the respondent board returned to this court a certified copy of the proceedings in the cause.
