Appellants, heirs of the estate of W. E. Pierce, brought this suit against the City of Jacksonville, its Mayor, City Commissioners, Tax Assessor-Collector and Board of Equalization, seeking an injunction against the collection of city ad valorem taxes assessed against properties owned by the estate for the years of 1961, 1962 and 1963. The suit was brought after city-wide valuations had been fixed and adjusted by the Board of Equalization for all years...
