Pierce, brought this suit against the City of Jacksonville, its Mayor, City Commissioners, Tax Assessor-Collector and Board of Equalization, seeking an injunction against the collection of city ad valorem taxes assessed against properties owned by the estate for the years of 1961, 1962 and 1963.
