Originally the named beneficiary was the appellee, Mary Jane Marshall, mother of James Edward Marshall. The appellant, Idell McCall Marshall, is the surviving widow of James Edward Marshall, and contends that her now deceased husband had effectively named her as the policy's beneficiary.
