The defendants appeal from a judgment of the Criminal Court of the City of New York, County of New York, convicting them, after trial, of violating section 722-b of the Penal Law. Defendant Gordon was sentenced to serve 5 days' imprisonment or to pay $50 and defendant Sprowal was sentenced to serve 60 days in the workhouse.
