This is a diversity suit for damages based on negligence of the defendant's insured as a result of which plaintiff, Don Jose Gonzalez Rivera, was injured. The evidence shows that on December 27, 1963, Don Jose, while walking along a certain sidewalk in Areciba, Puerto Rico, slipped and fell on a greasy and slippery substance which the defendant's insured had negligently deposited on or had allowed...
