This litigation stems from the "slant hole" oil scandal in East Texas. Appellants recovered a judgment against H. L. Long for oil produced from their adjoining leases by deviated wells surfaced on a lease owned by Long.1 This appeal arises out of a subsequent suit brought by appellants in aid of the collection of their judgment against Long.
