This appeal is from the decision of the Patent Office Board of Appeals1 affirming the rejection of claims 1, 3, and 8, all remaining claims in application serial No. 119,810, filed June 27, 1961, for "Coating and Method of Making Same."

All claims are to a method of forming a protective coating on a roof, for example, composed of an aqueous emulsion of bitumen and inorganic fibers, such as asbestos or glass fibers...
