Appellant, Bobby Joe Drinkard, was indicted by the Grand Jury of Coffee County, Enterprise Jurisdiction, for the offense of carnal knowledge of a girl over the age of twelve and under the age of sixteen years. Trial was had in the Circuit Court of Coffee County, Enterprise Division, on July 20, 1964. The jury found appellant guilty as charged in the indictment and fixed his punishment at a term of two years...
