Appellant was indicted for the offense of having in his possession a still to be used for the purpose of manufacturing prohibited liquors or beverages. The jury returned a verdict of guilty and the Circuit Court of Etowah County fixed the punishment at imprisonment in the penitentiary for a period of one year and one day. Appellant's motion for a new trial was overruled and McCright appealed to this court. The trial was held approximately three years...
