This appeal turns on the meaning of an agreement purporting to give an option to purchase a parcel of land improved by a dwelling at 1626 York Road in Lutherville. Mrs. Katherine Washburn, the original appellee, and Mr. and Mrs. Wilton L. Ensor, the appellants, were neighbors. The Ensors had known Mrs. Washburn for over 20 years and six or eight years before the option agreement was executed they purchased an adjoining...
