The plaintiff brought this action to recover damages to his automobile and for damages to personal property belonging to his minor son, resulting from a collision with a car driven by the defendant Bernard Shafer and belonging to the defendant Matt R. Shafer. The latter was made a defendant on the theory that the automobile driven by Bernard was a family-purpose car. The defendant Bernard denied negligence on his part, and the defendant Matt counterclaimed...
