(St. Mary's) was organized by the St. Mary's Protestant Episcopal Church (the Church) in 1962 as a non-profit corporation for the purpose of building a housing project for the elderly utilizing funds to be borrowed from the Federal government under Section 202 of the National Housing Act of 1959 (12 U.S.C.A. § 1701q).
