This is a suit for damages brought by Xenia Bell, the appellant here, against Robert G. Umstattd, an anesthesiologist and appellee, for injuries sustained by appellant as a result of appellee's attempts to insert an endotracheal tube between her vocal cords in order to administer an anesthetic prior to surgery. When appellant rested her case in the trial court, appellee made a motion for an instructed verdict upon the grounds that no competent evidence...
