Mr. and Mrs. Harvey E. Kennedy brought this suit for damages resulting from injuries which Mrs. Kennedy sustained when the breaking of a steel cable supporting a suspension or swinging footbridge caused her to fall several feet to a dry creek bed below. The defendant is the Columbia Casualty Company, liability insurer of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Brown as owners of The Cottage plantation on which the suspension bridge is situated.1<...
