Appellee-plaintiff, John Lynn, filed this action against appellant-defendant, Arkansas Cast Stone Company, Inc., seeking damages for personal injuries sustained when a large panel or slab of concrete fell. The case was submitted to the jury on the theory of res ipsa loquitur, so that the burden of disproving negligence was placed on the defendant.
