ETHRIDGE, Chief Justice:

This case involves the question of whether Mississippi's 1964 long-arm, jurisdictional statute should be applied retrospectively to a tort committed before its effective date. We hold that it does not reflect clearly a legislative intent to be retrospective, but on the contrary a purpose that it be prospective only. Miss. Code Annot. § 1437 (1964 Supp.); Miss. Laws 1964, ch. 320. Hence the judgment of the Circuit Court of Harrison County...
