A jury in the criminal court of Cook County found the defendant, James Wallace, and one James Dorsey, guilty of attempted robbery. Each was sentenced to the penitentiary for a term of not less than 12 nor more than 14 years. A writ of error to review the judgment of conviction as to Dorsey was transferred to the appellate court on the ground...
