This is an appeal by Defendant from a judgment awarding him $61,264.96, or $15,964.96 more than the amount deposited in the registry of the court by Plaintiff for the expropriation of a tract of land to be used in the construction of Interstate Highway 10. The property is a rectangular tract situated in the Ninth Ward, New Orleans, consisting of 53,273.8 square feet, with a frontage on the south side of the Old Gentilly Road of approximately 115 feet...
