The plaintiffs sought a determination of their rights under certain lease-option agreements to purchase real property. The defendants denied the validity of any lease and option to purchase, and affirmatively alleged, among other things, that the lease-option agreements had been cancelled, rescinded and forfeited, if such instruments had ever existed.
