This suit arose out of a collision between a Bay City fire truck and a tractor and trailer operated by William J. Carnes on July 18, 1962. The collision occurred at the intersection of Broadway and Fremont streets in Bay City and this intersection is controlled by a traffic light with the usual green, amber and red signals.
