On April 28, 1964 — at a primary election — Donald W. Cox and Hedvah Shuchman were duly elected by a majority of the Democratic voters of the 6th and the 10th Divisions, respectively, of the 7th Ward of Philadelphia as Democratic party committeemen from such districts.
