This is a common-law damage suit brought by George R. Cain against Herb J. Hawthorne for damages resulting when the car driven by defendant struck the plaintiff's car. Plaintiff just prior to the accident was going in an easterly direction down 7th Street in Plainview, Texas, and as he approached Ash Street the traffic light turned red and plaintiff stopped. After the plaintiff had stopped for the red light the defendant ran into the rear of plaintiff...
