On 25 February 1953 Dr. and Mrs. H. Alvan Jones (appellees) acquired a tract of land in Howard County containing 26.3 acres, 25 of which lie in the northeast quadrant of the intersection1 formed by U.S. Route 29 (Columbia Pike) which runs north and south and Md.
