Petitioner was charged with murder. He was brought to jury trial in the Second Judicial District in September 1965, and after extensive jury deliberation the foreman informed the trial judge that one of the jurors revealed that he had personal information about the case, that the juror thought he had observed the defendant and deceased together in a Reno bar.
