This is a second appeal of the case shown at 314 S.W.2d 717. The suit is one by plaintiff as assignee of Alfred H. Osborne, a former lawyer, for compensation allegedly due Osborne under an oral contract with the defendants, who are lawyers practicing in Kansas City as partners.
