This action originated as a suit by fifteen citizens of the Town of Gonzales, Ascension Parish (sometimes hereinafter referred to simply as "The Town" or "The Municipality"), wherein the numerous petitioners prayed for the issuance of a preliminary injunction prohibiting and restraining the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of said Municipality (Governing Authority) from fluoridating the municipal water supply.
