CARTER, Justice.

This is a proceeding under the Post Conviction Act, referred to as L.B. 836, enacted by the Legislature in 1965, now sections 29-3001 to 29-3004, R.S.Supp., 1965. The trial court denied the defendant any relief and he has appealed.

On September 1, 1939, defendant Robert William Losieau, under the name of Robert William Brevet, was convicted of armed robbery in the district court for Hall County and sentenced to serve 7 years in the State Penitentiary...
