This action was commenced by the respondent King alleging an unconstitutional taking by the appellant Highway Department of a strip of land on North Main Street in Anderson County, which unconstitutional taking was denied by the Department. The trial of the case resulted in a jury verdict for the respondent in the amount of $15,300, following which the trial judge overruled motions of the Department for judgment non obstante...
