Defendants appeal from an order of the trial court denying their motion pursuant to ORS 18.1601 to set aside a default judgment against them.

On July 1, 1965 defendants' counsel filed an application for a trial date. On July 19 the court set the case for trial on August 23, 1965. Defendants' counsel admits he was present in court on July 19 but does not recall the oral announcement...
