SNELL, Justice.

This is an action in habeas corpus involving the custody of two children. The trial court aptly referred to the children as "innocent pawns in this unfortunate and vexing litigation." Those contending for custody are the grandparents, who are the real plaintiffs, and the parents who are defendants.

An unfortunate situation existing through no one's fault was improving and gave evidence of an ultimate happy ending until defendants' ill-advised...
