In June of 1962 the plaintiff, Kevin Conway, then fourteen years of age, was injured when the bicycle he was riding was struck by an automobile driven by Lorraine Tamborini, defendant. The accident occurred on a gravel road west of Oglesby near the farm where Kevin Conway resided with his parents, Ed and Eloise Conway.
