This is an appeal from a judgment entered by the Circuit Court of Cook County, in a bench trial, whereby defendant, Roy Thomas, was found guilty of the crime of armed robbery and sentenced to the Illinois State Penitentiary for a term of not less than eight (8) nor more than fifteen (15) years.
