On September 12, 1964, the Rural Electrification Administration, acting by and through its Administrator, approved a loan in favor of Louisiana Electric Cooperative, Inc., in the amount of $56,521,000. Of this sum $27,079,200 was to be used in the construction of a 200,000 kilowatt steam generating plant. $28,184,000 of the proposed loan was to be used in the construction of 1611 miles of high voltage transmission lines in Louisiana and 82...
