MOISE, Justice.

The plaintiffs in the instant case are husband and wife. Plaintiff, Byard Baker, seeks damages for medical expenses suffered by his wife. Plaintiff, Rose Baker, seeks damages for the injuries received by her. Defendant, Fryar, was a contractor who, by arrangement with the Board of Governors of the Officer's Open Mess at Walker Air Force Base, undertook to install pipes for a water sprinkling system under roadways and parking areas...
