October 17, 1961, between 9:30 and 10:00 a. m., plaintiff (appellant) Monte Meyer, a fourteen-year-old boy, was riding as a passenger in an automobile owned and driven by his father. Plaintiff's mother, Ann Meyer (guardian ad litem) was also a passenger in the automobile.
