This is an appeal from the decision of the Patent Office Board of Appeals affirming the rejection of claims 1, 3-10 and 12-17 in appellants' application, serial No. 766,685, filed October 13, 1958, entitled "Functional Fluid Compositions." Appellants have withdrawn the appeal as to claims 7, 9, 10, and 13-17, leaving claims 1, 3-6, and 12 for our consideration. Claim 1 is generic and reads as follows:
