This is a case of first impression. On August 8, 1962, William G. Jenkins, appellant, while operating his automobile through Bald Knob, Arkansas, struck appellee, Ben F. Hill, a pedestrian, who was crossing the street. Jenkins was a citizen of Texas, residing in Weatherford.
