Appellants, James Oliver Jones, Jr., Mat Jones, Hillel Samuel Liebert, Willie Lawrence McCray, Daniel Robert Moses, Peter Orris, and Eugene Rouse, Jr., are all affiliated with the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, a civil rights organization. On June 23, 1965, at approximately 7:30 A.M., appellants, along with about 25 others, appeared at the steps and the front doors of the United States Court House at Foley Square in New York City...
