This is an action between two insurance companies each of which had issued a policy covering John W. Bennett for the same automobile liability loss. The plaintiff-appellant, St. Paul Mercury Insurance Company, satisfied judgments in part, settled suits against the insured, and incurred expenses in defending him. It here seeks to recover from Underwriters at Lloyds of London, England, the appellee, the sums so paid or to have the amounts prorated...
