On May 7, 1962, relator, the N. W. Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. instituted condemnation proceedings to take a right-of-way easement across the lands of defendants in Johnson County, Missouri. The proposed easement was perpetual, covered a strip of land 100 feet wide and on it relator planned to construct and maintain an electric transmission line.
